VISA, MIR or QR: choose how to pay
VISA, MIR and QR payments use the same ruble balance. Choose the method that fits the purchase: VISA for eligible international services, MIR or QR for purchases in Russia.
VISA: abroad and online
The virtual VISA can be used at eligible international merchants and online services. Card issuance costs 3,990 RUB; maintenance is free. Acceptance depends on the country and specific merchant.
For dollar purchases, the card rate is shown on the homepage as ‘1 USD = … RUB’. The rate used for the transaction is determined at the time of payment.
MIR: purchases in Russia
Use the virtual MIR at Russian stores and services that accept it. Payments in rubles are taken from your shared Sendbit balance.
Check your balance and the applicable fees and limits before purchasing.
QR: pay directly from your balance
If a merchant offers a supported SBP QR code, open Pay by QR in Sendbit. Check the merchant and amount, then confirm.
The amount is deducted in rubles without an extra Sendbit QR-payment fee. If you funded your wallet using USDC or USDT, conversion already happened when you deposited.
Mobile top-ups use rubles too
Phone top-ups are paid from your ruble balance with no Sendbit payment fee. No exchange calculation is needed for the mobile-payment step.
